"My Mary Lamb"

While visiting a small petting farm, Noah really became captivated by this sweet baby black lamb.  He went right up to him and kissed his back, then fed him, and followed him all around the pen.  

Then, Noah asks me, "Mommy, is this my Mary lamb?" (translation: Is this the lamb from the song "Mary had a Little Lamb?"  Which is one of his favorite songs).   

The sincerity and anticipation from his question left this Mommy only able to respond emphatically "Yes!"  (halfway laughing inside because this lamb is far from being white as snow like the song!)

     I turn my back for one second and he is holding his lambie

I couldn't believe that this lamb so willingly just let Noah carry him around!  

I think they both made a connection with each other.
