Me & the
kids spent some time with YeYe & Grandma Louise out at the cabin this
week. So beautiful & peaceful there…
Where else can you look out your window and see a baby deer in the yard eating
grass, get to ride a big red tractor with YeYe, feed a neighbor’s mules, and
roast marshmallows in your own fire pit any night of the week? The kids spent time collecting acorns,
helping YeYe harvest vegetables from the garden, & riding their tricycles
while we all enjoyed the welcoming cool autumn winds and watching the leaves
begin to change colors. And… We can’t
forget Grandma Louise & all her animal noise impersonations and her yummy
fried green tomatoes!
