Noah & Zoe

Today Noah had his 3 year well check and he is growing in leaps and bounds!  He officially weighs more than Zoe and is only ½ inch shorter than her now!  Holy cow!  I have a feeling our little boy is about to surpass his big sister soon.  Interestingly enough, he is on the growth chart at 50% in height & 25% in weight… while Zoe FINALLY made the growth chart THIS year at 5% in height & weight.

And you know how kids will say unexpected things in unexpected places?  As the nurse was checking Noah in, Zoe motions for me to hold her, and so I do)... She looks right into my eyes with both of her hands on my face and says out really loud (for the first time) “Mom, you are the BEST Mommy ever!” and plants a kiss right on my lips.  Really?  Did that moment just happen in the pediatrician’s office amongst the hustle & bustle of today?  Of course I smiled (felt like crying) and said back to her “Thanks Zoe.  And you know what?  You are the BEST daughter ever!”  Precious.
