Chinese New Year! Welcoming the Year of the Dragon...
We had a 3 day Lunar New Years celebration welcoming in the year of the Dragon! With our local FCC group on Saturday, then down in Richmond with OCA, and at home as a family on Monday. The kids woke up Monday morning to find the kitchen decorated & they ate "Lucky Noodle Soup" for breakfast. Zoe kept saying all day long "Mommy, I can't believe you did all this! I love it!" The kids enjoyed their traditional red envelopes filled with their "lucky money", candy, and clementines. And in the evening we celebrated with a special New Year cake complete with sparkler candles!
