I normally hold off until the first of May to start our veggie garden to make sure all possibilities of frost are gone... but after learning that my Dad started his 2 weeks ago due to all this warm weather... let's just say "peer pressure" took hold of me! I had my entire vegetable garden planted by the end of the day... Except this year... I am having to "share" part of it because Zoe "really wanted" a special flower garden of her own. And who could turn down such a genuine plea... plus, it makes me happy that she is starting to get a green thumb.
