We have been advised by our adoption agency that Taiwan is proposing new legislation that will affect all of their international adoptions. The new legislation has not gone into effect at this point... But, regardless, our adoption agency has advised us to expect a HUGE slow down. Which means it may be awhile before we receive a referral.
I learned about this news while we were at the cabin visiting YeYe... and it was completely devastating. I could not stop crying. We went to church with YeYe the following day and I found a lot of comfort & peace from the pastor's message: God is in control even when we cannot see it.
